Held annual general meeting 岡山県国際交流団体連絡協議会 (hereafter the council) to discuss revitalize the council
2002 July 30

・Established おかやま国際NGO協働事業実行委員会 with the memebers of our council.

 ・Perticipated World Citizens' forum sponsored by Okayama Prefecture.

 ・Held an executive meeting.
2003

January 17

  Our activity result and proposal were announced by the executive committee.
2003 March 21

・Held extraordinary general meeting to reprobose suggestion of revitalize the council.

・Made taskforce group (with 9 members) for discussing the problems and its solution. Probosed the results to the next general meeting.

・Submitted the petition to Okayama prefecture through Okayama Prefectural Exchange Foundation.
2003 June 7

・Held general meeting.

・Made taskforce groups (5Groups), reelected officers and  revised the rules of our council.

 October 3~4 Held Global Citizen Festival in Okayama 2003 cooperated with other organizations.
2003 November 29

・Held extraordinary general meeting and the meeting of the founders to become Specified Nonprofit Corporation in Japan.　

・Revised our rules to follow NPO rules and changed our name to Conference of Okayama International NGO Network (COINN)
2004 March 9

・Recieved the answers of the petition (Submitted 2003, March).

・Settled our office and mailing box.

・Extended our business hours.
2004 April 17 Held established meeting and general meeting for becoming NPO
2004 September 10 Recieved the certification of NPO (From Okayama Prefecture)

 September 29 Completed our registration as NPO (Okayama Region Legal Affairs Bureau)
2004 October 1  Planned and participated 1st Okayama International contribution event.
2004 October 30~31 Participated Global Citizen festival in Okayama 2004 as a executive committee member (Executive committee cecretaiat)

 Recived duties as NGO Counselor 2008 on NGO environment maintenance support project sponsored by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2008 October 17~18 Participated Global Citizen Festival in Okayama 2008 as a executive committee member
2009 July 25 Participated Global Citizen Festival in Okayam II 2009, cooperated with Houkancho shopping street, as a executive committee member
Suppor event of "Appare! Okayama Kokubunsai" 
2009 May 2009~ March 2010 Recieved duties as NGO Councelor 2009 on NGO environment maintenance support project sponsored by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2009 November 19 ~20 Held 2nd All Japan NGO councelor conference 2009 in Okayama
2010 August 13~15 Opened the booth on World grand prix (volleyball) game in Okayama
2010 December 5 

Opened the booth on the event of Human Rights week (Cooperated with Okayama city internatioal affairs division) 
2011 October 2  Opened the booth as " Internatioal activities caraval" on 7th Wasshoi Wansaka Kibi Kougen Festival
2011 October 26 Our affiliated organizations opened the booth on the 5th anniversary event of intetnational contribution promotion from Okayama. 
2011 November 3   Held "International understanding and cooperation activities conference for Primary schoo, Junior high school, High school and University students"　8 schools from Okayama participated.
 2011 November 3   Held "NGO Network forum" Groups from Okayama prefecture and neighboring area took part in the workshop.

We will play a central role in collaborating with international organizations due to address and find solutions to global activities and challenges.

Promote networks with overseas NGOs and relevant organizations
  • Deepen partnership with overseas NGOs and relevant organizations (Mainly organized Okayama Topia for International Cooperation(OTIC) which comprised more than 80% of COINN members)
